Notes: Private sector deposits remain the major source of funds for the banking sector with its share increasing from 71.6 percent as of June 2012 to 73.6 percent as of June 2013. After a significant slowdown in the growth of the total deposits of commercial banks in 2012, it recorded growth of 24.3 percent in 2013.
